Crack Sealing

Crack sealing is the use of hot rubberized asphalt to seal cracks in asphalt.  This prevents water from penetrating the sub-base and washing it out.  It helps preserve the pavement adjacent to the cracks; prevents sand, stone, and dirt from making its way into open cracks causing compressive stresses; and extends pavement life by minimizing crack growth.

Gilsonite Sealer/Binder Emulsion GSB-88

Joint Sealing

Time Striping’s typical hot-pour sealant provides an average of 3 to 5 years of life after proper installation. Some of our PVC coal-tars can perform well past 8 years. Time’s silicone sealants have performed well for periods exceeding 8 to 10 years on roadways. This type of performance hinges on joint preparation and installation.
