MMA
Recommended for high traffic areas - crosswalks, stop bars bike lane markings, and trail markings
Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) is a durable and flxible solution. MMA offers several advantages over traditional paints and even thermoplastic. MMA-based systems are designed to be highly reflective and visible in difficult conditions such as rainy nights, making them particularly effective for enhancing road safety. The marierial's ability to divert water from pooling on the markings improves visbility in wet conditions, and when combined with reflective glass beads, it becomes an ideal solution for roads where nighttime visibility is crucial.
MA"s longevity and flexibility make it an ideal choice for areas that require markings to last longer without frequent reapplication. It is also highly effective in settigns where adverse weather conditions, such s rain and snow demand better visibility and resistance.
THERMOPLASTIC
Recommended for high traffic roads, logos, handicaps, RXR crossings and lane arrows
Thermoplastic markings deliver enhanced visibility, reliability and support. These hot-applied thermoplastics pavement marking material is a 100% solid compound containing pigments, glass beads, binder and filler. The becomes liquid when heated. Hot-applied thermoplastic is durable, practical and enhances retroreflectivity.
PAINT
Recommended for low traffic roads
We us a waterborne traffic paint that is a high-solids traffic marking formulated specifally for use in both airless and conventional air-atomized striping equipment. This traffic paint offers the benefits of a water reducible paint and quickly dries to a no-track condition in 2 minutes or less, making it a useful triping product for roadways and airfields.
Time Striping has been striping roads since 1977 and to this day it is still a huge part of the services we offer to our customers. As a company, we are heavily involved with the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) and our technicians regularly attend the training courses they offer.
